Shop Building Joint Owner Issue

There are two member jointly buy the building in 2006, my mother given full money for previous owner.so we have possession and give the rent..Now another joint owner ask for half share rent. My question is how to handle that person?
The joint owner has the right to half of the rent if he contributed to half the value of the building. He is entitled to joint possession as well if there's no agreement between the two parties against it. Having possession does not give full right in the property. The other owner is 50% shareholder.

if you purchased a few purchase jointly the property then both have legal right and equal right as per the share in the property so claiming rent is fat because he is claiming his part so legal right to provide Tu Dadar party who is the joint legal owner
