Since you have been denied a share in your ancestral property, you can send a legal notice to the erring party. You can also file a suit for partition in the civil court, claiming your share. If your grandfather has not divided the share and has died intestate then your father has equal share in the property with his other siblings. Also if there is forceful possession of the property, then you may immediately reach to the court and can file suit for partition and possession. Also injunctions them from alienating the property would be required. Please feel free to contact Thanks

Hello, you can go ahead file a suit for partition and claim your share in the property. As it was your Grandfather's property you as a grandchild has share in his property in the absence of any Will or Gift Deed against the property. Even if there is Will or Gift Deed, the same can be challenged.
