Selling house that is co owned with my brother

08-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
I have a house co-owned with my brother, now I want to sell my part of the house, but my brother doesn't want to sell his part of the house as he is staying there and also do not want to buy my part of the house. What can I do in this situation?

In a joint property/dwelling house, you can only sell your share if the property is partitioned. In this case, you would require to seek for partition from court and then only can proceed selling it. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks
