Same land sole twice and my father is the second one to buy it.

My father had brought a land on 2006 from a person who is owing it from 1892 and he didn't sell it. Now some one is saying that that's their land and they had brought it on 1999.What to do now..
when your father purchased land in 2006 did you verified the link documents and encumbrances certificate. If you registered the land in your father's name and if EC reflects the vendors details then you can file get legal remedy. Visit our office for more clarification

its a case of mischief and overlapping of land couldbe due to distinct survey no. proper land survey is to be done by tahsildar or surveyor upon application. what is importsnt is to be hold onto your possession which is 9 out of 10points. reach us for further advise.
