Road planned higher than housing ground

01-May-2025 (In Property Law)
The road which was already there in front of my house is currently renovated to a higher level that it has become a danger to my house as the water will stay in my house premises in rainy season. Water may also enter my property if we don't level up our ground. Is there any legal way of dealing this? Please reply through email only.

you can file a suit for injection against the raising of ground level and the authorities concerned are duty bound to rectify the damages as to provide damages to the landlord. in your case you can raise a claim to elevate the level of your property to the level of the road

you can approach high court for remedy to get a direction to denolish the road and also to construct it in the existed form. you have to approach before appellate authority of pwd prior to that. most probably you will get the relief
