Rights of third wife on second wife's property

27-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My sister purchased a house in her name with all her savings. Her second husband has no share in that. She has a son from her first marriage and her second husband has a daughter from his first marriage. Now my sister has died without any WILL and her second husband is willing to do third marriage. Now, my query is that if her second husband gets married for the third time, then his third wife will have any right in my sister's property after the demise of my sister's second husband or only my sister's son from her first marriage will have all the rights after his step father's demise. Kindly give your valuable inputs. Thanks and regards

More than one marriage in Hindu law is an offence of bigamy. So you need to first tell which religion your sister belongs to. If she belongs to Hindu religion then after her intestate death, her husband and children would be entitled to get the share. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact

Thanks

See, the son will have a share along with your sister's parents and her the then husband. And no one else. You sister's husband's third wife will not have any share over your sister's property.

If there are any other circumstances, then you can appraise me with that.

And I think basically there is a property dispute between you and your sister and second husband so let me tell you that there are two types of properties when is ancestral and another one is and and property so you can transfer only that property which belongs to you and if and you have no right to transfer the property or the share which belong to your brother or sister to someone else for more details you can contact me
