Your father by his will can give his property to any one. In the absence of will all his legal heirs are entitled to equal share in his property. The property of the father will legally devolve on all heirs, irrespective of who has been taking care of the father.

Sir if the property is self earned then it is totally up to him. After his death if the person have made a will then as per the will else distribution of property will be made as follow ie The widow, surviving sons and daughter and the mother of the intestate shall each take one share.

Hello,
During the lifetime the person can give his property to anyone of his choice. He can also give the property to his servant. Further, the only exception to this rule is if the property is in here at property than the property should be divided between all the sons but the property belongs to only your father and the property is purchased from his income then he can give his property to anyone of his choice.
