Rights in the ancestral property if it has been sold 16 years ago
27-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
My deceased father sold the property acquired through will deed from my grand father. Can we claim our interest in that property now it's been 16 years now.
When your father got the property through will, he will become the absolute owner of the said property and he has got all the rights to sell the property . Now after 16 years children cannot claim the property.
Hi,
As you said that your father has sold the property which he acquired from his father then how can you make a claim now if their is no property now. It is like the property sold by your father and you want to claim it back which is not valid in the eye of law.
