rights in Father in law property for grandchildern

Hi My father in law died in Fabruary 2018. my mother in law lives alone . we have managed a servent there, I live in germany since 7 years. We conducted all the right at his demise with our own money. My sister in law lives in same city and now she is misguiding my mother in law to sell the house and shift with her. She influences my husband also. I dont want to sell the house. Do i or my son or daughter have any right over the property. can we claim a part. how can i stop this process legally

Hello client.
I have read Ur query as per which you do not wish that the house of Ur father in law which is been suited in India which u wish to retain and not get sold out as Ur saying tht Ur sister in law also live in India in same city where Ur mother in law lives but Ur sister in law tried to to convince Ur mother in law to sell the the property and shift herself to your sister in law house and she also had tried to convince Ur husband also

We have to see whether it is an ancestral property or a self acquired property of your father in law. Second thing we have to see whether he has written any Will with respect to his property if any. For further consultation and legal services you may consult us.
