Any property that is granted by the government to a member of joint family in his separate property unless it is made to appear from the grant that such property was meant for the benefit of the whole family. Till it is an ancestral property younger brother cannot claim the share

If the granted land is a joint family property and if it is granted to the family then all the persons of the family will get the rights. If it is granted exclusively in your brother name then you will not get the right in the property
