Right of the daughter in the property of father

My sister has filed a case in the civil court for taking her share from my father inheritance property. But my father doesn't want to give her. Is it possible that the decision of the court will be in favour of her? If not, Please tell me the exact information.

Absolutely!!! Daughters do get equal shared property righton Hindu undivided joint family and unmarried daughters have full fledged right over both biological parents whether father or mother and can demand or apply for equal rights

Yes, daughter right to parent's property. You are filed case for monthly maintenance against parents. Crpc section 125 is maintenance for child, wife, mother and father, so you go to court for maintenance and also mentioned residential prays

You can file an application under domestic violence Act against your parents. It is their responsibility to provide you residence and other basic necessities. And with regards to property, your share can be evaluated only after knowing more details about you like your religion, no. of siblings etc.

This can be both way. If the property is ancestral one then your sister has every right to get share in the same. But it has been proved that ancestral property is self acquired property then she couldn't claim
