Yes. Grandson does have a right in the right of grandmothers property. However, the dates of the deaths of the father and the grandmother may be relevant. Irrespective of everything the grandson is a legal heir within the meaning of Hindu Succession Act.

Was it the self acquired property or ancestral property? Grandson can have right on the property of grandmother after her death depending upon the nature of property, existence or non existence of will, surviving members of the family etc.

The answer to your question is yes.

As per hindu law you would have share in your grandmother property.

Though that share would follow through your father i.e. to say on death of your grandmother her property would be partitioned presuming your father was alive and whatever share your father should have got you will have right in the same alongwith your siblings and mother.
