Can I file my dispute simultaneously in RERA as well as in Consumer court or Ishould try only one at a time
all the real estate authorities cases for only conducted by Tamilnadu real estate regulatory authority you cannot file a case in consumer forum for the real estate transaction because the act itself clearly says that it can be filed only under the concerned authority not under the consumer act

RERA and Consumer Protection are independent enactments. You can file simultaneous petitions in both the forums. A recent judgement from the Supreme Court also confirmed this position. Therefore, you can very well file the petitions simultaneously before both forums.
