Sir,
I and my wife jointly purchased a flate in Delhi in Feb 2015. which cost was 50 lac. Took loan from a govt bank Rs 32 lac.
My wife paid all the EMI (30 thousand) till Nov 2019 while I carried out home expenses of about 35 thousand per month.
Now my wife left the home and I am paying EMI since Dec 2019.
Now she is asking to return entire money (EMI's) paid by her.
Please let me know what should I do.
My religion is hindu.

Hello, I have perused your query.
In these circumstances you have an option to send your wife a legal notice demanding the amount paid by you so far in a stipulated time period.
If she fails to comply with the said legal notice then you can initiate appropriate action in a civil court of law for recovery.
Also, if she is forcing you to return the money paid. Then you can file a complaint before the magistrate of criminal intimidation under section 200 CrPc.
