Release deed from husband before divorce

09-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
I own a property where my husband is included as co-owner only out of goodwill. He didn't contribute anything towards the property nor shared the house expenses. He is now having large liabilities (defaulter) from multiple institutions. This is the only asset in his name. I am planning for a mutual divorce after this release deed. Release deed or Relinquishment deed without any monetary consideration? which is best. In which deed I can mention there is nil contribution from his side.

it will be a nominal fees. it can be enquired from sub registrar office . it will not be a problem. if husband is ready it can be done. if we know the schedule of the property we can find the jurisdiction of the sub registrar and help you accordingly

hi, if he is releasing his share to you by executing release deed then after registration of release deed, when you are applying for mutual divorce then in the petition the release deed details should be mentioned.
