Registration of 40 years old property

What is the procedure of registering a property which is 40 years old. Legal purchase documents are in place, but was not registered during that time.

What useful purpose would be solved in registering the said property which is under your possession and use and no one created any objection in last 40 years. Your title is already clear through adverse possession and you are the owner of it and can sell the same on the basis of your adverse possession. The actual owner before you might also not available to go and execute the register sale deed in your favor.

The property may be registered subject to scrutiny of documents by the competent authority. The value of the property and stamp duty will be calculated and payable of current date provided all other things are in order.

There is no limitation You can easily register this property before registrar office But make sure you have a revenue or municipality entry by name As a owner you can sell that also For more information u can call me
