Regarding property partition between me and my brother

Sir I am Pradip Kumar and i am unmarried and I am Hindu now wants to buy a land. I want to know what is the chance division of the land between me and my brother if 1. If I register it with my name Or 2. I register it with my father or mother name

Hello. Regarding point no. 1 if you buy the land and register it in your name then no question arises regarding partition of the same as the property is acquired by you. However if you die unmartied, then your brother and other living heirs will get their shares as per hindu succession.
Regarding point no. 2 if you register the purchase in name of your father/mother then after their death your brother will get a share and quistion of partition arises as the property was ancestral property.

if you register in the name of yourself, there is no need of division. However, if you register in name of father or mother, you will face division later. You need to clear the title in your favour to avoid any future complications.
