If father have died intestate without leaving any will, then in all his assets you hold your equal share alongwith your mother and siblings. Even for claiming FD, you can seek your share. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks

Yes, you can definitely claim your share in the said FDs. The role of the nominee is just as same as that-of a trustee. You and your brother both are class- 1 legal heirs to your father. Therefore, you both have equal right over the said FDs and all other properties, if any. For any further legal assistance, please feel free to contact.
