Recovery of cash & material from ex Secretary

14-Feb-2025 (In Property Law)
Secretary of our Proposed society was removed from his post by a NO CONFIDENCE MOTION. He is refusing to hand over cash (Rs. 4500/- approx) and other society materials like letterheads, rubber stamp, important papers etc. He was served notice & has since been removed even a member of the committee. What police & legal action can be taken against him? What sections of BNS are applicable? We suspect he's misrepresenting society for redevelopment with builders.

Well, the Committee Members of the Society can get a FIR lodged against the Secretary who misappropriated Society funds for his personal use by refusing to handover cash of Rs 4500 belonging to the Society funds. You can also file a Civil Suit against him provided you guys have evidences against him.
