Received Encroachment Notice for safety door in passage

10-Dec-2024 (In Property Law)
I got an encroachment notice from my society on account of the safety door that I had installed outside my flat in the passage area. This narrow passage is used only to lead up to my flat's main door and is not used by any other flat. Therefore, I had put a safety door there because it is exclusively used for entering my flat. This notice says that it is the case of encroachment to society's common space. They are going to apply a fine according to Maharashtra Cooperative Housing Society Bye-Law

even though the passage is exclusively and seclusively used by you, still you do not get the right to include the common space in to your flat area, if everyone starts following this, the usable carpet area will be more and tommorow the benefits required to be passes on shall automatically reduce

Well, I can send a Counter Notice in your defence to the concerned Society, which will safeguard you from paying any hefty charged to them. If via my notice, they won't get satisfied and still demand hefty fine or penalty, then, you can escalate this matter to court via me.
