Protect property from estranged brother

My brother is a foreign citizen .He wasn't on talking terms with my father or myself. Father was always clear that he wants me to have the property .Unfortunately, father passed away suddenly during wave of COVID interstate .All his paperwork that is death certificate ,Documents of the house etc is in our possession. He left behind a flat .How can we possibly prevent my brother from staking claim in the property

If your father has died intestate then your brother has full rights in the property. All you can do is just make it a disputed property and file cases that might prolong the matter or your brother can give up his rights.

You can’t prevent your brother claiming his share bcoz of intestate concern ! Lawfully he is the equal share holder as per the class one living legal heirs …don’t forged anything wise u will put Hammer on your own feet .. it’s better u must give him his share if he demands ! Else he can only file suit for partitions possession against u
