Property tax assessed under rateable value instead of unit Area

Property tax of a flat assessed by MCD under rateable value for the period prior to 2004 in Jan. 2017. In terms of section 116G(2) of DMC Act, owners have option to assess the property tax unfer unit area method. Latest legal position.

In fact u need to consult the concerned staff for re rateable value again and as per that only need to proceed for the legal action butbetter to negotiate the samre and sort out it accordingly at the point of deal
