Property registration as floor basis or rooms basis and common passage

01-Oct-2024 (In Property Law)
My son is died this year, and now my daughter in law asking for property ancestral and self build both for my grand son. I want to divide my property on floor basis, as my 1st floor was built by my younger son with his own money. I want to divide my self owned property as room basis and common area. Is it possible? And is it mandatory to divide my self owned property to grandson, is it his birth right on my self owned property?

Yes you can definitely divide the property floor wise if it has been built by you or if it is in your name. One has right only in ancestors property if no will has been done for it or it has not been transferred to a person name. You can contact us for further details.
