Property is owned by others and somebody is residing

Family residing from 50 years in a property owned by others which nobody is paying tax for will the residing family have rights to own it

Yes if they file a necessary suit before the court or any entries made in authorities , moreover they can easily claim adverse possession you can't deny there possesion, even if you file case also you have to seek possesion and eviction both

The others who say they own that property must be having title papers / documents for that property. Taxes are something that can be paid even now. The family residing there will have those rights on which they have come there as long as the consideration paid by them.
