Property brought was in dispute can we get our money back

My dad was buying a flat and on the day of registry they found that the property is disputed. They got to know it through someone. We've given all the money and we're in crisis. What can be done?
You have not mentioned as to whether or not sale deed was registered. It can be cancelled by both the parties or file suit for cancellation of sale deed and recovery of money with interest. For details and or legal help you may contact me.

the first thing you need to do is file a police complaint for cheating against the seller and the broker, the next is to ask for a refund and if they are not agreeable to refunding the money, then file a case for recovery of the money.
