Original mother deed missing request help

I have original sale deed but mother deed original is missing however I have photocopy of original mother deed. What is the procedure to sale such property?

Do one hting. REgarding missing of the mother deed file a complaint before the jurisidcional police station stating that the documents were miss placed while travelling and also take paper publication for the same and file a copy of receipt of the complaint before the sub registrar along with affidavit and take certified copy of the same. Then you can go for sale.

If you have the photocopy or Xerox use it as getting the certified copy of the sale deed of your mother from the concerned department and then both the sale deed can be used for selling of the property.
