Need refund of booking and taxes

30-Oct-2026 (In Property Law)
I have booked a property and gave Rs 51000 as a booking amount. I got the cost sheet with the details of flat and total amount bifurcation. The builder asked to pay the Stamp duty, registration, GST and legal fees before making the agreement. I gave Rs 8,75,100 via 2 cheques but they didn't give any receipt for this.I haven't signed any agreement and want to cancel it because the builder is forcing me to sign agreement with illegal clauses that are against RERA rules. Will I get the refund?

yes you can ask for a refund now you may send him legal notice stating all your alligations or events and payments if Builder fails to replay you have ample options to recover your money with cost and interest also I.e. consumer forum, civil suit, Complaint to RERA you can choose one of them. simultaneously you can file criminal complaint against Builder for cheating.
