My Lawyer not pressing for execution

02-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My case in the NCDRC received the judgement order in my favour for refund with interest at 9 %. The appeal by OP in SC was rejected on the first hearing. The judgement order and the subsequent EA is nearly 2 year old. But my lawyer is not supportive . He agreed for mediation without my consent and is forcing me to accept in mediation that I am not willing to. What options do I have ? I am worried that failed mediation will mean further delay especially when my lawyer is not supportive

Well change him, get NOC(Change of Vakalat) from him and appoint any other competent and authentic lawyer in your locality for handling your case efficiently.

You can always change your lawyer if you have lost trust on him. Nobody can force you to accept something which you are not willing to do so. In this scenario you can try to find some other lawyer to handle your case.
