Mother in law blackmailing us what to do

I am from Hindu religion , my mother in law bought co stricter home on her name but my hubby demolished and reconstructed new home buy taking home loan and paying tax for past 18 years . So is this property belongs to my hubby also he is paying home loan monthly. Because my mother in law is blackmailing us that she I'll write will on her daughter name .

Your mother in law how she bought the property and now who paying the loan and whom she have intrest to right a will ...if your husband only one sun of her ..? Here without seeing your documents we con't give proper answere

Here you mentioned that, you hubby demolished the building and constructed a new house. I hope he may have all the document, spent for building construction purpose and also paying the loan.
As you told "his property belongs to my hubby" by any earlier transfer, then your mother in law cannot execute a WILL. Because your hubby will be the owner. If he is not there is chance that she may proceed by WILL.
Only by mere showing of the expenses for construction, the ownership or not giving the absolute right over the property. If you have any proof you can claim back by any recovery suit.
