Lives abroad bought a property in India inlaws trying to sell property

Hello, I am from USA. I bought a property in India near my in laws place. as we live in USA, my father in law did all registration related work on behalf of us. we sent all our documents from USA through courier to India. Now my husband and my in laws had some family disputes, we dont have good relations with my in laws.. I am scared if they going to sell my property(property is on my name) without my notice. is it possible to sell the property without my notice? Please assist, i think my husband filled 32 A of the Indian Registration Act 1908. and i sent all my passport, paystub details. all my municipal amount bills and registration is on my name. Please assist

Hi,
As you said that property was purchased and GPA was also given and on your behalf he has purchased the property. You have to check if it is GPA Registered or not and if only for limited purposes and if there is a right to sell then only they can sell it. Kindly check out for the document authority you have given. Call us through website for assistance
