Legal steps to collect money from broker who has ran away

Actually I have gave money to one property broker in average of land but latter I came to know he is doing cheating with me so I made a legal agreement on 500Rs stamp but he has not return from past 8 month and agreement is of 1year please help me what can I do here legally and how long it take

Make a police complaint against him. More fully the agreement with the broker is not maintainable. Better you take police help and once he caught record his statement before the respective police in writing.
