Legal Remedies for Society Mismanagement in Uttar Pradesh

27-Oct-2026 (In Property Law)
Our society in Jhansi is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The committee has withheld registration documents, MOA, bylaws and financial records, and signed an MOU with the builder concerning the clubhouse. What legal remedies can residents pursue for transparency, accountability, protection of their rights, and challenging the MOU? Can we also seek fresh elections, fixed tenure and prevent outgoing members from contesting?
