Legal Advice – Disputed Signature in Bank Locker Register

19-Oct-2026 (In Property Law)
I discovered a suspected forged signature in the locker-access register of CSB Bank, Angamaly Branch. Despite formally raising the complaint and repeated follow-ups, the bank has failed to establish the authenticity of the signature or explain who signed and authorized the entry. Instead, it dismissed my complaint, citing the absence of financial loss and compliance with standard procedures, without adequately addressing the disputed signature. I am seeking advice on legal remedies available.

If your signature was forged in the locker access register , the bank cannot simply say , since there is no loss no action will be taken by them against it. You should give a written complaint to the bank, ask for CCTV and access records, and file a police complaint for forgery and investigation with a copy of ur evidence. You may also give complaint to Banking Ombudsman . For more details you may contact me .
