Land sold by developer turned out to be from SEZ

We bought a land from a developer & we checked all the link documents and ER at the registration office to ensure the owner details. After 3 months , the govt. has erected the property boards claiming that its a part of SEZ.
The developer hasn't informed us about this before hand and please let us know on how to proceed on this legally...
