Is there a way to check will a person who is alive. It's my grandfather's will who is alive and he has my fathers name in it as one of the heirs but my father has expired. So what happens to the property we are living in as my father has expired and in will it had to be transferred to his name upon execution.
Will can only be executed after the death of the testator. So if your grandfather has made a will and he is alive, then that will cannot be executed. However you possess your share in your grandfather’s property being the legal heir of pre deceased son. Thus as per Hindu Succession Act, you can claim your share. However if you are not Hindu then this law would not apply in you. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact.

There are two types of property one is and another versus ancestral property so one can execute a Will only for his own property which has been purchased by him one cannot do well for the ancestral property so your grandfather can execute a bill only in case that property has been purchased by him thank you

Or your grandfather can make a new WILL
Or he can attach extra document called codicil to current will
