Is POA authorised To Sell The Property

07-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
I am planning to buy a property. But the owner of the property is not involved in any legal transactions. POA of the property is selling the land. Can I buy the land from POA? Can the owner claim rights over the property in the future? If buying the property through POA is legal , whom should I pay the money ?

Read the power of attorney deed thoroughly. The deed should specifically mention regarding power to sell the property belonging to the owner or principal. Unless there is specific clause regarding power to sell the power of attorney don't have the right to sell the property of the owner.

you can purchase property through power of attorney document but one thing if the power of attorney document extends after 3 months then you should get your life certificate of the principal from a doctor that is alive after 3 months and is alive now so after getting a life certificate along with the power of attorney document you can purchase the new property
