Inheritance after father passes away (Hindu)

23-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello; My father passed away in the 1990s without a will. The home my mom, brother, and his family live in belonged to my father which he purchased. (Not inherited). We are a Hindu family & I am a US citizen Does my mother solely own the property outright? Do her children have any claim on the property at all absent a will? I did search online and did not get a clear answer I need to help my mother resolve a thorny situation but need to understand what the claims are, then take suitable action Best; Sujit -=-

dear friend, when father was alive. then father has right to take decision about property. after death of father its become ancestral property. then there is equal right of every one it means there is equal partition between your mother brother and sister. who is heirs of your father. any one not become single owner of the property. if anyone try to doing something. then it's become illegal.
