For executing through a Gift deed; the Registration charges is 7% on the property guideline value for Stamp Paper + 2% on the property guideline value as Registration fee + additional requisite charges such as CD, computer fee etc., will be charged. For executing a Family Settlement Deed; the Registration charges is 1% on the property’s guideline value (₹40,000/- at maximum) for stamp paper + 1% on the property’s guideline value (₹10,000/- at maximum) as Registration fee + additional requisite charges such as CD, computer fee etc., will be charged.

hi, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, draft a comprehensive gift deed, the stam duty of 1% Of the market value needs to be paid, then you can proceed with the registration, the total charges will vary from property to property, thank you, you can contact me for further clarifications

You can execute and register a gift deed which is the most cost effective option. If the documentations are clear and all documents are available you can register within weeks time and also get return of document easily. Kindly engage the services of a legal profession for haste free registration.
