I have a query pertaining to the share in property

My father having 4 sons and 2 daughter including me.My father has 12 acre agriculatural land.My father died in 2007.My birth year in 1952 and got married in 1972. What will my own share
Respected Client, its depend upon your father will and testamentary deed, what he want to provide to all the children. If their is no will & testamentary there will be equal share between all the children.

Where a hindu dies after the commencement of the Hindu Succession (Amendment )Act.2005 his interest in the property by Mitakshara law shall devovle by testamentary or intestate succession as the case may be and not by survivorship and co-parcenary property shall be deemed to have been divided as if a partition has taken place & the daughter is allotted the same share as it allotted to sons. U get 1/6 share of the property. In case of.the proprety. is self occupied and your father had not made a .will then the property shall divied into 6 equal parts.
