How to transfer my brothers property on my name

Sir I and my brother were legal heir of my mother's property. After her death my brother tried to capture all himself, so to avoid clash i distributed it equally but not my brother is suffering from mental problems and her wife do not want to take her charge but want to sell my brother's half and throw him away. What should i do? Is there any from which i could transfer my brother half in my name? As it seems my mistake to divide the property.
Execute a gift deed of the share of the property vested on your brother in your favour. This might be a fairly less cumbersome process to get the share of property standing in your brother's name legally transfered to you.

Once there is a partition you can not revoke it. So now the property is belongs too your btother and his legal heirs. So his wife can sale the propetty but if ur brother has any child then you may approach the court on his or her behalf for not to allinate the property.
