How to transfer father's property to mother's name

Sir, I want my father property to transfer in my mother name what is the procedure of transferring property in my mother's name. Also how much time it takes in this procedure.
If your father is alive then he execute gift deed in favour of your mother. And second one is he made sale deed in favour of your mother. In this process if you provide all related document to your advocate then 3 days maximum

1. If your father is alive then he can transfer the property on various ways like by will or by gift deed etc
2. If your father is not alive then under indian succession act the property eill be transfered.
