How to stop grandfather from selling ancestral property

My question is related to ancestral properties we have an agriculture land in deoria district but my father is living in dehradun from last 30 years and property is on the name of my grand father and he is live also and living in deoria but issue is my grand father is selling properties without consent of my father under the pressure of my uncle so how I can stay for selling properties and what is the procedure for that thanks...

They have a right to sell the property because now he is the owner of the ancestral either he found this as gift but that property is ancestral so you have right in this like your father you can file a injuction suit to stop him to sold out this property

Dear client,
If this property is your grand father self acquired property then he can transfer the property to any one as he want. But if this property acquired by your grand father 's ancestors then he can't sell this property. For this you can file a civil suit in the compent court and get stay.
