How to apply for mutation certificate in kolkata to obtain ownership.

I have received certified copy of registered deed and possession letter from developer. Locality Sukchar, municipality ADSR Sodepur. What documents I need to take for the mutation of flat in Kolkata? Will there be any surcharge or development fee imposed? I have xerox copy of other documents as all documents are with Bank due to home loan.
1 % is the municipality fee of the then market value of your flat for which you will get receipt and you will need completion certificate also which is absolutely necessary for mutation... now you can go to the municipality yourself or via agent... we do have people who work for us and are willing to do your work but they will charge you minimum 10 thousand or .40 % of your flat value whichever is higher.contact us through lawrato...

Mutation Application Form must be filled . Must be accompanied by a certified copy of the Deed of Conveyance and copy of possession letter issued by the Developer. Also keep the the latest electricity bill ready. Mutation Fee will have be deposited along with the tax assessed. In case you are not satisfied appeal may be filed within 30 days. Before filing the application it is important to know the tax due on the property before your possession of the flat.

Mutation is of two process. One with BLR Authority another with Municipal authority.You should do both.process is you apply with all relevant documents along with copy of previous owners mutation certificate copy.why you are having certified copy of title deed.where is the original deed.you must have original deed unless you deposit to bank as security for loan.
