HI,
how can you purchase the land without registration. any immovable property for the purpose of valid title must register with the registrar. you purchased one gunta through registration and to avoid stamp duty you purchased one gunta without registration.
but in your case from 1983 you are in possession of the property that will protect you to some extent. you don't lost the possession of the property even your seller filed a case against you for eviction it is barred by limitation. it will protect you from eviction.

Hi
you should challenge the seller with whom you entered in to unregistered agreement of sale and ask him to come forward for registration.
you can also file a criminal complaint on the seller based on the contents of the normal hand paper wherein he has acknowledged the receipt of money and handed over possession to you, but has not come forward for registration.
