Any executed contract? monthly rent? If started in 2014 for 2 years, your license period appears to have been expired. Any adjustment terms agreed between you and owner about deposit amount?
Such details necessary to understand your matter else there will be many speculations and many further solutions.
Still if you are paying any monthly rent then you will surely get your deposit back. But if there is no rent then your arrangements need to looked into.

As per your query
If you have executed the Leave and License Agreement with the Owner and the same is still valid and subsisting, the Owner cannot force you to evict the same unless and until you have contravened the provision of the Leave and License agreement or till the expiry thereof. In the given circumstance you need send him a legal notice mentioning all the threats he is alleging and demand your amount with heavy interest and compensation for the trouble he has given you.
