Great grandfather's property go transferred without my knowledge.
31-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
Sir, We have a piece of agriculture land on our great grand father name 150 years back which is still on record with the patwari of that area. The said land was never been transferred by any legal means. But presently the said land was on some other person name. How it was transferred on their name was not known to us. As my grand father told me that none of our fore father had either transferred any part of that land to anyone. Is it possible after so long time that we can file some civil suit against the illegal occupants. thanks
Yes. Sure you can file for the rights in the property. But for a proper consultation i need to see few preliminary documents:
1. The original title deed.
2. The facts relating to the the heirs to the property.
3. The detail of person who allegedly has the property transferred.

Hello,
Yes you can file the case and need immediate action on it. Illegal accuracy should be treated ASAP. if that is already registered in your great grandfather's name then documents itself a proof.

This problem is very complicated because there is involvement of third palson, so I would like to advise you kindly meet your advocate so that you can come out from this problem because there are several explanations which has not been provided by you in this forum...
Yes in this case you can file a civil suit for declaration nd permanent injunction stating that this thing came into your knowledge recently and the concerned court having jurisdiction in that regard will consider it if submission from your end is made properly
Yes first obtain documents showing name of present holder and then file suit for cancellation of the same giving full facts .however question of limitation may arise but it may be overcome if full facts and circumstances are made clear.
