Grandson's right to claim share in grandfather's property without will
24-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandfather died in 1984. ( My mother's father). He left agricultural property without Will. Now, I don't my mother, she was the first daughter to grandfather. He has got 3 daughters & 1 son. Now can sue the portion of my share of the property. Please advise
Yes you can claim your rights in ancestors property, and its dependent upon legal heir cetagury, how much share you get, even you can file suit for partition, for that not required any will, it's your right to claim
If your mother is no more then you are entitled to her share of the property. You are well within your right to sue for that portion of the family. You will have to establish the family tree though to effectively prove your case.
