Grandchildren claiming share in grandparents property

03-May-2023 (In Property Law)
my grandfather had 4 houses(2 + 2 flat system), out of 4 he transferred 2 in his wife's name(as he was a govt servant, to avoid issues). later my grandmother transferred those 2 houses in my elder uncle's name & my grandfather transferred other 2 houses to my other uncle, both are my father's elder brothers, I want to know if I can claim the property transferred by to grandmother to my elder uncle, which was done in 1975 (mentioning it as family arrangement). my father passed away in 2015. I don't want the share from my other Uncle's property which my grandfather gave. My grandparents had 6 children 3 male 3 female. ( I am 3rd son's kid).

A self-acquired property can be transferred by the acquirer in the manner he or she wishes to. Hence, if your grandfather transferred all the properties between your grandmother and your elder uncle then they become the absolute owner of the property and they can further dispose of the property in any manner they wish to. However, you can find whether these transfers were made by force fraud or coercion and hence challenge the transfer on grounds.
