Grand son have any share in Grand mothers property
28-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
MY FATHER SOLD GRANDMOTHER'S PROPERTY I WANT TO TAKE SHARE IN THIS PROPERTY CAN I...? IF YES THEN HOW....?
Yaa you can. But if that property gifted to your father then you can't...
Dear Sir,
In case your father has inherited your grandmother's property as ancestral property and not pursuant to some gift deed/will etc, the same will be treated as ancestral property between you and your father.
You will have to file for suit for partition and separate possession of the your ancestral property before a Civil Court of Competent Jurisdiction.
In case your father has received the property from your grandmother, pursuant to gift, will etc. then it will be treated as self-acquire property and the same will not be liable for partition and you will not have any claim over it.

yes, you can get a share in the property if the property is ancestral property or if it is Hindu Undivided Family property. you will have to answer a few more questions to ascertain how you can get it. we can have a meeting regarding it.
