Gift deed vs registered relinquished deed

My father gave me 50% of property thru gift deed. After his death I signed a regd relinquish deed giving up all rights in favour of my mother. Do I retain my 50% share after this

As per the contents of your query since you have relinquished your absolute rights in the property in favour of your mother through a relinquishment deed, you rights lapses and vest in your mother. You dont retain any rights. In case you wish you may consult a lawyer for detailed consultancy with the copy of the deed

No. After relinquishment you cannot claim your relinquished share since you are not the owner now of that share. Relinquishment is a complete transaction. You will only get the share left out in the name of your father after his death if no WILL was made by him.
